Great links, but you get extra brownie points from me for the one with Dan Duryea. I’m a huge fan of his. I saw him in Silver Lode twice just this month: http://mykindofimages.tumblr.com/post/37863521679/silverlode
Thanks for the comment! I just love Duryea, he makes every movie better. And I am going to raid your tumblr soon for reblog material :) cheers
I agree – big points for the Dan Duryea link. The blog author was right – he DOES look like a “blonde satan”.
Yeah some actors (ie. my faves) will always get love here, glad you concur with my taste :D
Dan Duryea was a grea actor. I loved him in Scarlet Street and Criss Cross. You know he never let his young kids watch his movies because he was always playing some kind of bad guy. In reality he was a real nice guy. Oh those character actors, they were just so good back in the day.
So good in FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX and WINCHESTER 73 too! He was always slapping the ladies too. No wonder he made the kids look away. Real life good folks often made the best movie baddies.
