  1. Oh darn. I’m sorry I couldn’t get involved this time. I even had one or two ideas for possible choices if I had time. Fortunately, now that I’m done my classes, I should have time to take part in the Beach Party Blogathon. I’ll just have to watch the movie but I’ve still got two months (three including this one) to see it and figure out what to write.

I don’t suppose you’d have any interest in the blogathon I just started. I know you’re specialty is classic film but perhaps there’s something interesting you could do with that (I’d technically argue that “action cinema” as it is understood today starts to emerge in the 1970’s, but there are plenty of precursors to the modern action film that could still be valid choices). It would be interesting to see how you’d meet the diversity requirements using characters from the Studio Era:

    1. I saw your castathon post and have been thinking about how to make a team from the classic era, it’s doable! Plus there’s lots of time to the end of May so I will probably do a post for that 🙂 seems fun. Look forward to having you in the Beach Party and you’re sure to enjoy the Villain posts!

  2. This was a blast again, Kristina!!
So glad I chose the 1st day, so that I can take my time now and stroll through all of the other entries this week.

Hats off to you, Ruth and Karen: a tremendous job by each of you!

    1. Thanks so much we appreciate that! Great to have you join again this year, and I hear you on the strolling 🙂 I can’t wait to get to all of these myself!
