And with that, the Beach Party blogathon has come to an end, hope nobody got too badly sunburned, and we didn’t count heads, but we’re pretty sure the shark didn’t get anyone.
Many thanks to all the bloggers who joined in the fun and covered everything from the Frankie & Annette party movies, to sea monsters to surfers and seaside adventures from every era and genre. With all the classic movie events it’s a busy summer for bloggers so we appreciate you taking the time to join us. We’re so impressed with the turnout, the writing, the tweets and promo and hope you all found it just as fun to discover or revisit these movies as we all did reading your thoughts on them.

Looks like you got quite the selection. The timing of this is also kinda amusing because here in Toronto it hasn’t exactly been beach-friendly lately (in fact it’s been raining most of today).
Again, I’m really sorry I couldn’t take part. I might have been had it not been for this darn class. Fortunately, it’s going to be over on Thursday, so if you’re going to run anything else during the summer, I should be able to take part in that… or at least I will once I decide what I want to write about.

NO kidding, I’m not too far from you and getting the same rain! All the more reason to watch beach movies 🙂 No worries, you are welcome anytime something fun is going on and when you can manage it.
